Spectacular, Fantastic Compact Speaker System To Dock Your Lightning-Equipped Apple Devices

Philips DS3205 Speaker Dock for iPhone 5

                                                                 Review

If you're looking for an entry level speaker dock with lightning connector for your lightning iPad Mini, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5G, Philips DS3205 is one of the popular lightning speaker dock that you may want to check out.

Apple lovers are in for a treat as Philips add a new page to its speaker roster with the Philips Room to Room Docking speaker DS3205. So Philips provides Apple lovers with a means to enjoy loud and clear music, no matter where they are in the home.

Adapting with constant changing technology, Philips stays ahead of the race in terms of compatibility without forgoing the quality it is known for.

Philips DS3205 focus more on audio quality unlike DS1155 which highlights only the alarm clock speaker dock for your bedroom. This one can be used as portable device with AA batteries and AC outlet as regular speaker dock, for your living, bed, study and studio rooms.

It's quite understandable that DS3205 lacks LCD display unlike DS1155, since DS3205 specifically concentrates on audio quality most. But what you'll get is 10 watt drivers, that's good enough to fill your room.

Make one easy connection and enjoy all your music from portable devices and computers. Very well, if you like, you can connect devices with no lightning port like Apple devices, Android tablets or even mobile phones to Philips DS3205 via 3.5 mm Audio-In port. Enjoy your favorite music while charging your iPod/iPhone via the new Lightning connector.

Found to be more compatible with Apple iPhone 5, and the latest iPods, this Room to Room Docking speaker DS3205, is one of the first of a range of Philips Docking speakers to be fully compatible with Apple's new 8-pin digital lightning connector.

Definitely it's superior performance and crystal-clear sound belies its dimunitive size. It can be ported easily around your home, giving you maximum portability with AC power or battery options, while allowing you to dock your service without the hassle of messy wiring!

Regardless of its size, it handles loud music without cracking due to high quality neodymium speakers for a superior bass effect and balanced sound quality. Moreover its dynamic Bass Boost emphasizes bass content through out the range of volume settings at the touch of a button.

Despite what's your level of volume, either maximum or minimum, the speaker will deliver pristine, clear sound without distortion. The bass levels are boosted to ensure consistent sound. It also charges your device while playing, so, you don't have to worry about the battery running out! Along with the usual AC adapter option, you can run the unit off a set of 4 AA batteries, which power the speaker for up to 8 hours. (which is pretty good).

Since it has an audio input for connecting other audio devices, you can use it as a speaker for your PC.

Design-wise, Philips DS3205 is a sleek and portable conclave with a 360-degree compact design, fit for modern home decor.

My only issue with it is the missing USB port and you can't play sound with the auxiliary port if you have a device sitting in the dock. Plus, you have to remove everything but the slimmest cases in order to dock your device.

Previously high priced, more than $130, reviewers questioned the value. But now, $54 cheap price, an unbeatable speaker dock it is.
